Hey there :)
Now unless you've been living under a beauty rock, you'll have heard of the Clinique Chubby Sticks and all the hype they caused.
A balm/gloss/stain type hybrid, the Chubby Sticks were all the rage a while back and companies everywhere are falling over themselves trying to come out with cheaper alternatives.
No.7, Soap + Glory and Revlon are just some of the brands that have come out with their own version and now MUA are firmly on the bandwagon with their new Power Pouts!
I was recently sent two of these to show you guys so read on to see how they fared against their more expensive counterparts...
What They Say
The Power Pout is a lip treatment with added colour intensity that relieves dry, cracked lips by providing immediate moisturisation.
This pencil makes the sheer colour easy to apply and rolls up for easy use.
Available in 6 shades, the Power Pouts will have your lips Summer ready in no time!
What I Say
I am in love with these!
MUA are one of my favourite budget brands and I think they've hit the nail on the head with this release.
I own the Revlon version of this type of lip product and I can safely say that I prefer the MUA pencil.
As someone that regularly suffers from very dry lips, I love how moisturizing the Power Pouts are and they feel much softer on the lips compared to the Revlon Balm Stain.
Thr Power Pouts give a lovely and glossy wash of colour to the lips, the gloss fades after a couple hours leaving behind a stain to the lips that looks great.
I like to reapply these every 4-5 hours and am loving their lasting power.
All in all, these are my new obsession and I definitely think you guys need to check them out!
Me wearing the shade ''Rendevous''
Me wearing the shade ''Broken Hearted''
You can pick up the MUA Power Pouts from Superdrug for £3 each.
What do you think?
Have you tried any new lip products lately?
Stay Beautiful! xoxo
