Hey there :)
It seems like we can't go a whole day lately without hearing the words BB Cream or CC Cream.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I've yet to try a BB Cream, there was just so much hype around them that I actually got sick of the idea of them before even trying one.
The latest makeup/skincare craze these days are CC Creams.
CC Creams are basically colour correcting creams that retain all the skincare benefits of a BB Cream while also providing nourishing ingredients and coverage.
Every brand under the sun seems to be rushing to come out with a new CC Cream and Olay are no exception having just released their new CC Cream as part of their Regenerist line.
I was recently sent a bottle so thought I'd share my thoughts with you guys!
What They Say
This cream promises to even your complexion, reduce the look of wrinkles and minimise the appearance of dark spots.
Available for dry, normal and combination skin, this cream is easily absorbed and will leave skin hydrated and your complexion perfected.
Containing an SPF15 moisturiser, serum and sheer foundation, this product is all your skin needs!
What I Say
Let's just take a second to appreciate the beautiful packaging, Olay have really pulled out all the stops!
Now on to the review!
I applied this CC Cream all over my face with my fingers and found that it absorbed and blended out easily.
It provides a very light coverage so, if you suffer from blemishes or under-eye circles, you would need concealer also.
This cream left my skin moisturised, soft and evened out my rosy cheeks slightly.
All in all, I think it's a great product to wear on the days where I don't feel like putting on a full face of makeup but, if you suffer from spots, you might want something with a bit more coverage!
Left: Wearing nothing on my face. Right: Wearing just the CC Cream :)
You can pick up the Olay Regenerist CC Cream from Boots priced at €27.99
What do you think?
Have you tried a CC Cream before?
Stay Beautiful! xoxo

Wow this reminds me of Stila's all in one foundation I think. And I think the coverage is decent, probably using a bb cream over would have a better coverage~
ReplyDeleteBut the rosy cheeks blushing through is gorgeous on you dear! ^^
Followed you for quite awhile, do visit my blog if you are free too :)
