The formula of these mascaras is dressed in light reflective particles to add a subtle brightening effect, and gem-toned colour beads which customise the reflected light to enrich eye colour. The formula has a black mascara base that wraps around each lash, working with the brush to give even, clump-free volume and definition. The light reflective particles sit on the lash surface and act like tiny mirrors to capture and reflect light, helping to bring more light to the eye area and subtly brighten the eyes.

What I Say

My sister and I have both actually tried out these mascaras and were both very pleased with the results. Even though this mascara comes with a plastic wand, and I usually prefer natural bristle wands, I really enjoyed using it. The wand holds just the right amount of product, leaving no excess product to be wiped off, which can be a total waste. It coated each lash evenly and thankfully the formula wasn't too wet, so the mascara didn't smudge or splatter onto the eyelids. This mascara gives a very natural look, providing both volume and length and certainly lasts all day without clumping. Me and my sister would both recommend it :)

Onto the big question, did it brighten our eye colour?
