Hey there :)
I'm quite happy to report that I've really gotten into my nails recently, whether it be painting my nails or applying fake ones, I'm loving taking time out for myself and indulging in a little ''me time''.
I used to be a chronic nail biter so that's where my love of fake nails comes from and it's fun experimenting with different lengths and designs.
There has been quite a lot of hype around Press-On False Nails for some time now and they do seem to offer the best of both worlds: you get professional-looking nails without using glue and damaging your nails.
When I was recently sent a set of Press-On Nails from Impress to show you guys, I was so curious to see what all the hype was about.
Read on to see if the hype is well deserved...
What They Say
These Press-On Nails allow you to achieve a salon finish for a fraction of the price and time!
Simply choose the right size nail for you, remove the tab and press onto your natural nail and you're good to go.
With over 24 different styles to choose from, there's something for every occasion and they last for up to 7 days.
What I Say
I love the idea of this product and think the packaging is handy, compact and perfect for popping into your handbag.
I was sent the shade ''First Date'' and think it's the perfect shade for Autumn/Fall as it's so warm, a lovely brown/slightly gray shade.
These nails are so easy to apply, there was a great range of sizes and I applied them within minutes.
They're not too long so you're still able to use your hands easily and they look so chic!
The downside for me was the lasting power, I lost a couple nails after a few hours and it continued to happen no matter how hard I squeezed them onto the nails.
Although, when you do take them off, your nails still feel smooth and not damaged in the slightest.
Overall, I think these are such a fun product and perfect for a special occasion so I would recommend them to you guys, I just don't know if they'll last you up to 7 days like they say.
The Impress Press-On Nails are available from Boots + Superdrug, priced at £7.99 for the plain nails and £8.99 for the patterned ones.
What do you think?
Have you tried press-on nails before?
Stay Beautiful! xoxo
Eeek - must give this a try! I am TERRIBLE when it comes to my nails, I wish I looked after them more and painted them properly but I'm lazy/a nail biter.
ReplyDeleteThink I'm defo gonna give these a go! Thanks!

I've been thinking about trying them for awhile, but not sure if they would last. My own nails don't even last when I am at work (I work in retail), so this has always been my concern. They do look great though.

I have already used these false nails and it is like you say: they don't last for seven days but for one evening in the clubs for example they do their job. I like to use them when my nails look horrible again (I am a horse rider and a sailor, not a good combination to have perfect nails) and within a few minutes I have beautiful nails! :)

love the color!
ReplyDeleteI really love the idea of these as well and the packaging is super cute! But my friend recently bought some and she said the exact same thing, that they really didn't last. It's a shame really because there are some really love colours/patters x
