I told you guys in a recent post that I have been totally neglecting my skin. Well, I'm slowly getting back into a routine and have been looking to revamp that routine also. As my skin has been feeling slightly unloved of late, I have been looking for a cleanser that is gentle but also a thicker and more hydrating consistency.
I was lucky enough to be sent something recently that totally ticked all of those boxes. That something was the Hydra-Calm Cleansing Milk from clean skincare giant REN.
Launched in 2000, REN produces products using only 100% plant and mineral derived ingredients. This gentle cleansing milk is geared toward those with sensitive skin. It promises to gently remove dirt and make up while leaving the skin feeling purified, calm and soothed. Simply massage onto skin, rinse off with warm water and enjoy the results!
What I Say
REN are quite a cult brand within the blogging community so I was dying to try this product and had huge expectations. The first thing I noticed was the packaging, I loved how clinical and no-nonsense it looked and it totally does a great job of reflecting the beliefs of the brand. This product has a lovely fragrance, fresh and fruity, so you feel like you're getting a little bit of luxury everyday. It has a lovely and thick consistency and feels almost like foam when applied to the skin. After using this product, my skin felt fresh, soft, firm and ready to soak up my moisturizer. I am definitely a REN convert now and can't wait to try more of their products!
The REN Hydra-Calm Cleansing Milk is available internationally in all good stores, including Selfridges, John Lewis and Space NK.

Nope, I've not tried this brand. Don't think it's available where I'm from. It does look like a no-nonsense packaging like you mentioned.
