I've become somewhat obsessed with skincare lately, creating a complex regime that I think ticks all the boxes and am starting to see a difference in my skin. 

I'm starting to notice the benefits of using organic products, the main reason being that they aren't full of the usual chemical nasties that you'd expect to find in skincare products. 

When I was recently sent the Anti-Oxidant Chamomile Face Serum and the Ylang-Ylang + Patchouli Sugar Body Scrub from Ali Mac, a wholesome skincare line, I was very curious as to whether these would be a welcome addition to my regime. 

Ali Mac believe that we should all be more aware of the sheer amount of harmful ingredients that skincare products contain and that we should take a more natural approach to our skin.

Ali Mac products are also ethically produced and free from synthetic ingredients.

What They Say

The Anti-Oxidant Chamomile Face Serum is a restorative treatment rich in Rosehip, Jojoba and Avocado to gently nourish your skin. 

The Ylang-Ylang + Patchouli Sugar Body Scrub is designed to promote the natural cell renewal of the skin, improve circulation and help remove dead skin cells. 

What I Say

I was looking forward to using the Face Serum, mainly because of how cool the packaging is!

I love that it's a glass bottle with a pipette applicator, something totally different and a little bit luxurious in my opinion. 

This Serum does contain Argan Oil so, for that reason, it feels slightly like a face oil when you put it on and a little goes a long way. 

 I would recommend using this Serum at night as it takes a few minutes to sink in so I like to use it as an intensive night-time treatment. 

When I wake up, I'm left with soft, nourished skin and I find that my makeup just looks better too!

The Sugar Scrub comes in a lovely glass tub also, another luxurious little skin treat. 

It's solid in the tub but comes out easily and melts onto the skin, doing a great job of gently scrubbing away dead cells. 

Lots of scrubs tend to leave a greasy residue on the skin but I didn't find that with this product. 

Instead, it leaves the skin very soft and moisturized, due to the oils it contains. 

All in all, I'm very happy with these products and think you guys certainly need to check out Ali Mac!
