Hey Beauties!

I am a huge lip product fan and love changing it up between shades and finishes, they're probably my favourite product to play with.
With lots of you going on holiday lately, I thought you guys might be interested in hearing my recommendations for lip products to wear in the warm weather!

I hope you like it!

1. Rimmel Apocalips - 'Apocalyptic'
My love is strong for these guys, they are basically a liquid lipstick so you're getting the pigmentation and wear of a lipstick and the hydration of a gloss.
The colour range is fabulous, from nudes to bright pinks they have you covered, and they are super pigmented so be careful to stay within your lip line.
After a couple of hours the gloss will fade, leaving you with a beautiful stain to the lips that's not drying in the slightest.
Of them all, Apocalyptic is my favourite shade, it's a bright pink that screams Summer and makes these babies some of my favourite lip products!

2. Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil - 'In With Coral'.
These beauties are Maybelline's take on the Nars lip pencils and they are a beautiful product.
Very nicely pigmented, they have a smooth creamy texture and simply glide on the lips, giving a beautiful colour.
Even though they're a pencil, they don't feel rough on the lips and don't dry them out at all, they give a satin finish at first and dry down to a slightly more matte finish after a few hours.
In With Coral is a beautiful slightly shocking coral shade and if you can't wear that type of shade in Summer, then when can you?!

3. Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm - 'Vivacious'
These balms feel so comfortable on the lips, they're glossy and have a great amount of pigment to them, nothing shocking but enough to look like you've made an effort with your look.
They give so much hydration to the lips and last well and are easy to top up on the go, a great Summer product really.
My favourite shade I have is 'Vivacious', a brighter pink shade that does a great job of brightening up the face and finishing off a Summer look.
Once the gloss wears off, you're left with a balmy stain to the lips that feels so comfortable, a great product.

4. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet - 'Pink Pong'
These beauties are a great option for those of you that prefer your bright lip to be matte and less messy.
They glide on effortlessly, have a great pigment and dry down to a matte finish in a couple of minutes.
There's a great shade range here and they last very well on me, a good 6 hours, before being topped up so they're a total winner in my book!

5. Maybelline Colour Elixir - 'Mandarin Rapture'
If you suffer from dry lips or just prefer a glossy finish, then look no further than these babies.
Offering both hydration and gloss, they have a good pigment without being sticky at all.
Once the gloss wears off, you're left with a nice stain on the lips without drying them out at all so you guys should definitely check them out!

Swatches (top to bottom) Revlon ColourBurst in 'Vivacious', Rimmel Apocalips in 'Apocalyptic', Maybelline Colour Drama Pencil in 'In With Coral', Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 'Pink Pong' and Maybelline Colour Elixir in 'Mandarin Rapture'.

Hey Beauties!

Lately, it seems like there's another festival with every week that passes, making Summer the season for music lovers.
As much fun as festivals can be, they can also be stressful when it comes to packing as there is nothing convenient about staying in a tent!

Being the lovely little helper that I am, I decided that I would make packing that bit easier for you guys by telling you what I think are essentials for your festivals this Summer.

1. Water Wipes.
Let's face it, there is nothing really sanitary about festivals and personal hygiene does have to sit on the back burner in terms of showering etc.
To make this a bit easier and to help you feel as fresh as you can, baby wipes are a must.
Unlike most wipes, Water Wipes are super gentle on the skin thanks to being made up of 99% purified water and are suitable for sensitive skin.
Not only can they be used to take off your make up (this is OK at a festival!) but you can also think of them as a hand held shower (TMI?!)

2. Dry Shampoo
Keeping on the topic of  hygiene, our hair has to stay in a low maintenance style for a festival weekend so dry shampoo is a must.
My hair is dry enough to last a good few days in between washes but if you think you'll be an oily mess then this baby will be your best friend.
Whether applied at the roots to absorb excess oil or throughout the hair for some added oomph, this product truly is a saviour!

3. Temporary Tattoos
Now that our hygiene has been sorted, it's time to think about the important stuff, fashion!
I feel like festivals are a time to let loose and have fun and what better way than experimenting with some temporary tattoos.
These beauties are having a serious moment this season and are available everywhere, including in Primark stores, and look so good with a tan.
My favourite are the gold variety and they add such a boho touch to any look, a festival winner for sure!

4. Concealer.
When you're partying late into the night, you're not going to be a pretty sight in the morning!
At festivals, you're going to be outside constantly dancing and having fun so the last thing you'll want is to have a heavy base on your skin.
Concealer is handy as you can cover up those under eye circles and any blemishes you may have while letting your natural beauty shine through.
This beauty from Collection has great coverage and does a fantastic job of filling in those pesky pores too!

5. Lip & Cheek Colour
When it comes to festivals and occasions where I can't pack as much, I love a good multi-use product.
Lip and cheek products are everywhere now and make it so easy to add a little healthy flush to the cheeks while preventing the lips from looking washed out.
These little beauties from The Body Shop are great to pack and come in a variety of lovely shades!

So there you have it, those are my top 5 products that will hopefully add a little something special to your bag at your next festival!

Hey Beauties!

I go through phases with my body care, sometimes I'm religious with it and moisturize every day from top to toe whereas other times I totally neglect my skin and leave it completely dry out (terrible I know).
One brand though that inspires me to lather up is Burt's Bees, I just love what the brand stands for and the high quality of their products.

Now it's Summer and so many people are travelling, the brand has decided to make beauty even easier for you by releasing *2 kits* of mini travel friendly products.
I was lucky enough to be sent both kits to try out so read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
These kits contain all of your skin loving essentials for the Summer season.
The Tips & Toes kit promises to stop the wear and tear on your feet so that you can have a mani-pedi with a natural twist.
The Essentials Kit has all the samples you would need to introduce your family and friends to the skin loving brand.

What I Say
I love the idea behind these little kits, they make the chore of knowing what to pack so much easier.
One of the standout products for me has to be the lip balm, they're so hydrating on the lips without feeling greasy and do a great job of nourishing them when they're chapped.
Another great product in the kits is the Coconut foot cream, I adore the scent of Coconut as it reminds me of holidays straight away.
I feel like you need your feet to be in good condition in the Summer what with all the sandals you'll be wearing and this baby does a great job of softening them up.
All in all, I feel like these kits are great options for those that want to try out the brand, for those that want to buy a nice gift for someone or even just for those that will be travelling this Summer and want great travel size products.
Check them out guys!

Hey Beauties!

For this post, I thought I would be little miss helpful for you guys and tell you about some of my essentials for Summer.
In make up terms, Summer can be stressful as the (hopefully) warm weather can play havoc with our looks which makes longevity and long wearing products a must have.
I hope you enjoy my picks!

Fake Tan
Even in Winter, I can't be without my fake tan so it's a given that it's a complete Summer essential for me.
You just can't beat the healthy glow a tan gives you and I feel so much better and slimmer when I wear it.
I feel like it's important to think about the cost of tan as most bottles only last for a few full body applications.
Two tans that I love are both available in Primark and are the St. Moritz and Sunkissed tans, both great budget options.
These babies blend easily, don't streak or go patchy and can be removed easily enough with a good exfoliant.
My tan lasts me around 5 days and, once you shower off the guide colour, the biscuit like scent disappears!

Foot Cream
I'll try keep this one short as none of us enjoy talking about feet but it really is important to look after your tootsies as they will be on full display this Summer thanks to all the sandals people are sporting.
A good, thick foot cream is a must for looking after our feet, especially the heel area that can dry out easily, and I feel like the Heel Genius from Soap & Glory is a great choice.
With a beautiful scent and thick texture, this cream is great to slather on the feet along with fluffy socks so that your feet can get nourished while you relax!

3. Body Moisturizer
Along the same lines, it's important to keep our bodies moisturized especially if we're going to be sporting a lot of tan.
While I love body butters for a deep dose of hydration, they can be a little much for the hot weather so a Body Sorbet from The Body Shop is a great alternative.
These beauties are lightweight and hydrating while also being nourishing and smelling great.
They come in a great variety of scents and sink into the skin quickly without leaving a sticky residue so that you can go out and enjoy your Summer day as quick as possible.

4. SPF
It should go without saying that you need to wear a good SPF all year round, but especially so on your face when the Summer months roll around.
We all know of the untold damage that sun rays can do so please make sure to stay safe this Summer and put some on every morning.
Clarins are known for their great suncare range and have managed to deliver a facial SPF 50 that is neither sticky nor clogging for the pores.
An all round winner!

Face Powder
During the Summer months, the dreaded shiny face can be the bane of our existence so make sure to stay prepared and throw some face powder in your bag (OK so maybe don't throw a powder!).
I love the Stay Matte powder from Rimmel and use it everyday on my T-zone, I have the translucent shade and it does a great job of giving that matte finish.
It doesn't cake up on me and lasts well throughout the day without breaking down and it's so affordable, a total winner for me!

Light Base
When the sun is out, you don't want to smother your face in a heavy thick base, your skin will need to breathe after all.
During these times I do like to use a lighter base and the CC Cream from Bourjois is amazing for this and is totally worthy of all the hype it gets.
It gives good medium coverage, is easy to blend and gives a radiant finish that doesn't look overly dewy, just really natural and pretty.
I like to set it with some powder and I'm good to go for my day!

Salt Spray
You can't beat that surfer chick look and what better way to achieve that than with some beachy looking waves in your hair?!
Salt sprays have caused quite a stir, none more so than the Surf Spray from Bumble and Bumble, and it's safe to say that I am a huge fan.
My hair is quite dry so I can't use it too much but I love just spraying it through freshly washed hair to add a bit of texture and grit.
It leaves your hair with a nice wave and matte look, just like if you'd just been in the sea!

Body Spray
This might sound strange but I sometimes find perfume to be too overpowering in the Summer months and when I constantly smell a strong scent, I can actually start to feel quite nauseous.
It's because of this that I find body sprays are a lot better for Summer, you just can't beat a light summery and fruity scent when you're out and about.
I Love... do a great range of body sprays in lots of different scents, they last well for a body spray and are the perfect size to pop in your handbag for on the go touch ups!

So there you have some of my Summer essentials, I  hope you enjoyed it :)

Hey Beauties!
Boohoo are without a doubt my favourite online fashion store and I love nothing more than perusing their website on a daily basis.
When I saw that Boohoo launched their High Summer Collection, I couldn't wait to share it with you guys and oh boy is it good!

Whether you're into monochrome or like to make a statement with your accessories, this collection has something for you.
I am loving the bright pops of colour from this range and the budget bikinis will have us lounging by the pool in style.
For after pool glamour, throw on one of the embellished kaftans and you will be good to go.

Feast your eyes!

Hey Beauties!

For some strange reason, even though the weather has been good where I live lately, my lips have been super dry and sore.
With the condition they're in, you'd think that I lived in the North Pole but no, my lips are just that prone to dryness.
It's because of this that I've tried more than my fair share of lip balms and rotate them on a weekly basis as I'm worried about my lips getting too used to the one product.

I Love... are a budget brand that I've featured a lot on here and I really trust their products and especially love their scents.
They were nice enough to send me some of their *Moisturising Lip Balms* recently so read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
These lip balms are all you need to leave your lips feeling hydrated and nourished.
With invigorating bursts of scent, these babies are a handbag essential!

What I Say
The packaging of these balms are so cute, I love the little heart design they have in the centre.
I was sent the chocolate, strawberry and raspberry ones and of course their scents are divine, it's nearly tempting to just eat them off your lips!
These feel so creamy and hydrating on the lips and don't leave a greasy or waxy feeling to the lips at all.
I find these to be good fail-safe lip balms, they'll look after your lips and leave them well primed for lipstick and I know I'll get great use out of them.
Check them out guys!

I Love... products are available from Superdrug and online here.

What do you think?

What's your favourite lip balm?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo
