Hey Beauties!
Chubby eyeshadow pencils have been having somewhat of a moment this past year, with Clinique sparking the trend for thick shadow sticks that give great colour with just one sweep.
The perfect product for girls on the go, I for one have been enjoying adding more convenience to my routine and have dabbled in a few offerings from different brands.
I was recently sent the new range of Shadow Pencils from Max Factor to try out and couldn't wait to see how they fared against their drugstore counterparts!
What They Say
These shadow pencils enable you to create bold and bright looks with just a couple of strokes.
These super blendable beauties glide over the lids and are the perfect partner for any eyeshadow.
Available in 8 shades, these 2-in-1 shadow and liner pencils have a highly pigmented gel formula for the smoothest application of all!
What I Say
I like the packaging of these pencils and how they're not nearly as bulky as the Clinique ones so are thankfully makeup bag friendly.
I was disappointed by Max Factor eyeshadows recently but thankfully these babies have brought the brand back up in my eyes!
They are super creamy, nicely pigmented and just glide on to provide a great colour with lasting power but are also easy to blend out.
They're great to just sweep on or as a base for other shadows which makes them a brilliant multi-use product.
Check them out guys!
Max Factor Wild Shadow Pencils are available from Boots, Superdrug and all good drugstores.

I like the colours but not sure how usable they'd be

I have seen these types of big shadow pencils everywhere lately and I've been a little scared to use them. I use NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Milk" as a base sometimes, but I'm a little scared to try to use these as shadow themselves. I might just bite the bullet and try them out anyway. Thanks for the review!!
