Hey there :)
I've really been embracing current hair trends recently and I'm loving the change that makes to my haircare routine.
Seeing as we're technically still in the Summer months, beach babe hair is still a big player in the haircare world.
From surfer chicks to festival goers, everyone lately seems to be rocking long, messy and texturised locks that scream effortless cool and I've joined the craze by embracing a certain hot product, salt sprays!
Like I've said before, my hair is very dry and damaged due to years of heat styling and dye jobs so for that reason I've been wary of the drying effect that salt sprays can have on the hair.
Being a blogger, I'm lucky enough to get the chance to trial a large variety of products and, after trying a few different salt sprays, am starting to realise that some are better than others.
When I was recently sent the Salt Spray and Hairspray from TIGI to try out, I was excited to see how they would fare against others I've tried...
What They Say
The Salt Spray promises to give a light, pliable hold to the hair while it's carefully designed formula will help you to control frizz and fight humidity.
The Sea Salt will also add body and texture so that you'll be looking catwalk ready in no time!
The Hairspray is the perfect finishing touch to any look due to it's long-lasting and fast-drying formula.
This product aims to provide moveable hold and humidity resistance while adding shine and conditioning the hair.
The fine mist combined with a stunning vanilla, musk and rose scent, makes this Hairspray the perfect styling tool!
What I Say
I like to think of the Salt Spray as a toned down version of the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray.
It smells a lot nicer I think and isn't nearly as drying as the Surf Spray which I love seeing as my hair is so damaged.
I spray quite a lot of this on my hair and find that it does give some texture, a matt look and leaves a beautiful fragrance to the hair.
I think this would be perfect for those with fine hair as the effect it gives isn't as dramatic as the Surf Spray and, if you found the Surf Spray too drying, then I would recommend this to you!
The Hairspray was a pleasant product to use, it has a nice musky scent and applies as a fine mist over the hair so the application is easy.
I used this product to achieve a messy hairstyle, I love this type of look as I think it really gives off that effortlessly sexy vibe.
One thing I hate about a lot of hairsprays is the crispy coating that they leave on the hair, I applied a considerable amount of this hairspray and my hair still felt great with some added texture.
All in all, I would recommend this Hairspray to you guys if you're looking for an enjoyable product that offers texture, a fine hold and a great scent!
