I've never really been that into eyeshadow, I think I just always saw doing an elaborate eye look as hassle and preferred a more fuss-free look.
Lately though, I've been gradually experimenting with makeup more and, after dusting the cobwebs off my eyeshadow palettes, have been enjoying creating everyday smokey eye looks.
I love how a neutral smokey eye can totally transform your look and make your eyes pop so that's definitely been my go-to look these days.
Recently, I was sent some eyeshadows from Fashionista to try out so read on to see how my experimenting went...

What I Say
These are some of the most beautiful eyeshadows I've seen, the colours are so pretty and go together perfectly.
These shadows are super sparkly which may not be to everyone's taste but I think they make great shades for a night out or special occasion.
I used them both together to create a smokey eye with a pop of colour, they're nicely pigmented and blend out easily.
They did fade on me after a few hours but still were quite visible.
All in all, they're lovely shadows and are great value for the price, just don't expect them to last for hours and hours!
