Review | Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion

Seeing as it's Summer, girls everywhere are applying every product under the sun, hoping to get that much desired Summer glow.

We all want to look our best and clothes just seem to look better when you have healthy, glowing skin.

Now there's nothing wrong with being pale of course, but if you're like me, you'll have tried every type of tanning product from sprays to mousses trying to get that colour that says ''Yes, I've just come back from the beach''.

One type of tanning product that has long been one of my favourites is the Gradual Tanner.

Designed to be a moisturizer that will leave a touch of colour to your skin that can also be easily built up, Gradual Tanners take the fuss out of tanning (after all, who wants to spend hours awkwardly trying to spray tan those hard to reach places?!).

The Gradual Tanner that has always stood out for me has been the Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion so when Dove recently sent me a bottle to show you guys, I jumped at the chance to share my love with you!

What I Say

I am such a fan of Dove as a brand, they always hit the nail on the head and who can forget their amazing ''real women'' campaign?!

This Lotion is one of their bestselling products and it's no surprise as this makes such a lovely addition to my daily routine.

I was sent the shade Dark with Soft Shimmer, it has a fresh, nourishing scent and sinks into the skin straightaway, leaving a great sheen to the skin so you can see where you've applied the cream.

After applying this, my skin felt so soft and moisturized and had a lovely glow with a slight shimmer by the next day.

I personally like a dark tan so I apply this daily and like to really build it up so that I achieve a lovely, natural-looking tan.

I definitely think you should check this out if you like a natural-looking tan that will also care for your skin :)
