Review | He-Shi Quick + Easy Dark Foaming Mousse

Fake tan has long been an obsession for me.

For years now I have faked my way to a golden glow and have tried every brand under the sun.

You can't beat the slimming effect tan gives and who doesn't love to flaunt some tanned skin in the Summer?

Every year in the run up to Summer, I haul out all of the old favourites to bronze myself to within an inch of my life and, every so often, I come across a new amazing find.

One of these finds is the self-tanning brand He-Shi.

Loved by editors and celebrities alike, He-Shi are dedicated to making you look and feel great.

Using high quality ingredients, their unique Youth Revive Opti Tan formulas help provide an easy application with an instant bronze colour.

This is combined with their Moisture Lock Technology which hydrates the skin and prolongs your tan.

I was recently sent their Quick + Easy Dark Foaming Mousse to review for you guys so here's what I think :)

What They Say

This self-tanning bronzer tans on contact, giving an instant glowing tan.

This Mousse contains glycerin to help keep the skin moisturized and natural foaming peptides to nourish and condition.

All He-Shi tans are ph balanced to be suitable for sensitive skin and are suitable for the face and body. They help prevent signs of premature aging by using moisturizing ingredients and are alcohol and paraben free.

What I Say

I had heard about this brand before over the years and had high expectations.

It totally blew me away!

I love tans that leave an instant colour on the skin, they're so much easier to apply and hardly ever streak. The day after applying this, I was left with a deep bronze colour that looked like it was professionally applied. It didn't have that overwhelming fake tan scent either (although after using tan for years, I've grown to love this smell!). After about a week, my tan faded nicely without looking patchy like a lot of tans.

All in all, I loved this tan and am a total He-Shi convert now!

I really need to try this especially as I'm normally useless at missing parts so the fact that it leaves a tan instantly so I can see where I have been is a big bonus

This brand is new to me but it sounds great! Fake tans are so much safer than real ones these days.
