Review | Lauren's Way Darker Than Dark Self Tanning Mousse

Hey Beauties!

Being a naturally pale girl, it's very hard for me to get a natural sun kissed glow by sitting out in the sun.
Not only is sunbathing dangerous and bad for the skin but it's also time consuming and something I find a little boring if I'm honest.
On holiday, I'd much rather spend my time shopping till I drop and exploring the local restaurants and tourist attractions.
For this reason, I have long been a fake tan obsessive and love to try out different brands and share my thoughts with you guys on here.
As you know if you read my blog, I'm a huge fan of Lauren's Way and have written about them quite a bit.

Luckily for me, Lauren's Way sent me some more goodies recently, including their Self Tanning Mousse, and I couldn't wait to see how this would fare against the others I've tried!

What They Say
This easy to apply formula gives a smooth glow while feeling velvety soft on the skin.
The Darker Than Dark shade is perfect for those with darker skin tones and also for experienced tanners!
This tan gives an intensely bronzed look after just one application and has a lovely scent thanks to ingredients including Cocoa, Rose Petal, Jasmine and Passion Flower.

What I Say
I can't believe I'm finally saying this, but I think I've finally found my perfect tan!
The packaging of this product is great and the pump applicator makes it easy to get just the right amount of product.
I use a self tanning mitt to apply it and the mousse feels lovely and soft while providing an instant colour so that you can see where you've applied it, making it easy to avoid streaks.
The morning after applying this, I was left with a deep bronze glow that was streak-free and professional looking!
I am in love with this tan and think you guys seriously need to check it out if you're a fan of that seriously tanned look!

My bronzed look after using this Mousse :)

What do you think?

What's your favourite fake tan?

  1. I think it looks pretty good! I personally love Sun Goddess, but I have to mix mine with oil-free body lotion because it is too dark for me. I also use a cheap one for less than $7 at Walmart and it works amazingly well for me and that is Banana Boat Summer Color in Deep Dark, but I would love to try out a mousse as I never used a mousse before!

  2. You are so lucky! I am super pale as well, so I find it hard to get that natural looking glow. This sounds just wonderful! And the results are so so pretty. You look perfectly sun-kissed.

  7. Looks like a great product, babe! Such a shame that summer's already gone for us (hello, rainy autumn), so I can't slather this all over me :).
