My brows after threading.

Next up, I was treated to my lovely facial. I explained to the girls that, since falling pregnant, my skin had become slightly sensitive and prone to spots. They recommended their Aloe Vera range as this is very gentle and very well suited to sensitive skin. First, I had my skin cleansed twice with the Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser. This really cooled my skin which was a little red after the threading. She explained that cleansing twice is good because the first cleanse gets rid of any surface dirt from your skin, while the second cleanse allows the cleanser to get deep into your pores for a good clean. Then I was treated to a lovely exfoliation with the Aloe Gentle Exfoliator. This helped to get rid of any dead skin cells on my face. Next, she used the Aloe Calming Toner which closes up the pores and helps moisturiser settle better on the skin. Last up was the Aloe Soothing Moisturiser which left my skin feeling lovely and soft. 

Last but certainly not least, I was treated to my makeover! I really wanted a nice day look with a more radiant finish and a nice pinky tone to the cheeks. This was my first time using The Body Shop makeup and I was more than happy with the result and would definitely recommend it to all of you!

I was also given a lovely surprise when I was told that I could pick any item in the store as a free gift :) It was such a hard decision because I loved so many of their products but I finally settled on their Face + Body Makeup Brush (this usually retails for around €23). This brush feels soooo soft and I can't wait to use it. I will be reviewing this brush very soon :)
