Foundation and all base products in general are a huge obsession for me, they really would be one of my desert island essentials.

For me, it's all about hiding those rosy cheeks and of course matching my face to the fake tan I'm always sporting.

Foundations are definitely my go-to choice when it comes to bases and I never truly got swept up in that BB/CC cream hype that we all know of only too well.

I feel like when something gets over-hyped and talked about, I lose interest in trying it, anyone else feel like that at times?

Anyway, I had heard only great things about the CC offering from Bourjois and, because it's rare to only hear positive things about a product, I picked it up during a recent shopping trip!

What They Say

With it's 3 colour-correcting pigments, this product is all you need for a fresh and luminous finish and it's also equipped with SPF 15.

The oil-free formula has a lightweight texture and hopes to be a dream to apply and blend.

What I Say

I actually like the packaging of this, the squeezy-tube design is lightweight and easy to fit into your make up bag.

I suffer from dry skin occasionally and I wanted something that would pep up my complexion without clinging to those stubborn dry patches.

It's light in texture, just glides over the skin and blends in quickly and easily, perfect for those days when you want a fuss-free base and don't want to go bare-faced.
I love the look this gives, a beautiful radiant complexion without looking overly-dewy and I love how it lets the natural pinkness of my cheeks shine through.

This is a true colour-correcting base, it's not going to give you full coverage so if you're scared of the more natural look, then back away now.
