Being a beauty junkie, I get super excited for the festive season as I love to rock beautiful rich colours which every makeup brand seems to come out with at this time of year. 

From deep plum lipsticks to a smouldering smoky eye, I love to take a walk on the dark side once the weather gets cold!

So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw the press release for a brand new Collection from Catrice. 

Catrice are one of my favourite makeup brands as they're just so affordable and really take note of the upcoming makeup trends. 

This Collection is certainly no exception, drawing inspiration from the history of art and days long gone by. 

With 3 makeup palettes designed to compliment the 3 corresponding art periods (Art Nouveau, Baroque and Art Deco), this Collection is something opulent and different. 

Each Eye and Face Palette contains 6 powder eyeshadows, a blush, highlighter, applicator and an eyeliner so that you can easily pop everything you need into your handbag. 

The colour and packaging of each compact is truly exquisite and really reflects the 3 main art periods beautifully and looks like a real collectors item in my opinion.
