Hey Beauties!

It's not often that I feature fashion from the higher end of the price spectrum but, after receiving an interesting email, I had to write this article for you guys!

This coming weekend is the Who's Next Show in Paris where, alongside 2,000 labels exhibiting, the 10 young designers who are part of The Future Of Fashion Programme will exhibit their collections for all to see.
The Future Of Fashion Programme is a great platform for up and coming designers by providing them with the support and tools crucial for the development and longevity of their brand.

This year, there are 10 up and coming designers featured (5 Ready-To-Wear and 5 Accessories) so I thought I would give you guys a little preview!

The first Ready-To-Wear designer is Dora Abodi, a designer with a passion for drawing that took her to Milan to study.
Featured in Vogue, her baroque futuristic graphic designs are adorned with embroideries and exotic leathers but are fur-free and in line with ethical concerns.

The next designer is Claire Yurika (the British brand being called Hanger) who stands out for her minimalist and often monochrome designs.
Featuring organic materials combined with synthetic fabrics, Hanger makes innovative and unique outfits in bamboo silk, crepe or cotton that are individually hand-painted in London.

Next up is Ioana Ciolacu, an award-winning designer who designs structured and geometric outfits using flowing and diaphanous fabrics.
The result is evanescent figures, half-way between street wear and couture.

The last Ready-To-Wear designer is Kelly Love, a designer that likes to mix concept and ready-to-wear.
After working for a Japanese artist, Kelly was made especially sensitive to the importance of the concepts behind each piece of clothing.
All her designs are made of Jacquard, wool and leather for affordable luxury products.

The first Accessories brand is Väka, a Barcelona-based brand that draws inspiration from the North to design their collections but they also favour a very Mediterranean sense of aesthetics.
The designer makes all the bags herself using the finest natural leathers and fabrics, resulting in a line of bags and accessories that features minimalist and visually stunning pieces.

The last Accessories designer is Michal Taharlev, whose collection is a tribute to traditional weaving techniques.
He has associated the fabrics with metal details, creating jewels that look like totems.
Each piece is hand-made, all in one piece, and the designer thinks about them as a series rather than a collection.
Colours change according to materials used (copper, aluminum, steel, brass, tin...), all metals have kept their natural aspect and sometimes show time-induced alterations.

These designers will showcase their Spring/Summer 2015 collections at Who's Next, from 4th-7th of July.

What do you think?

Which is your favourite piece?

Will you be checking out the show?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo
