Hey Beauties!

I am a huge lip product fan and love changing it up between shades and finishes, they're probably my favourite product to play with.
With lots of you going on holiday lately, I thought you guys might be interested in hearing my recommendations for lip products to wear in the warm weather!

I hope you like it!

1. Rimmel Apocalips - 'Apocalyptic'
My love is strong for these guys, they are basically a liquid lipstick so you're getting the pigmentation and wear of a lipstick and the hydration of a gloss.
The colour range is fabulous, from nudes to bright pinks they have you covered, and they are super pigmented so be careful to stay within your lip line.
After a couple of hours the gloss will fade, leaving you with a beautiful stain to the lips that's not drying in the slightest.
Of them all, Apocalyptic is my favourite shade, it's a bright pink that screams Summer and makes these babies some of my favourite lip products!

2. Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil - 'In With Coral'.
These beauties are Maybelline's take on the Nars lip pencils and they are a beautiful product.
Very nicely pigmented, they have a smooth creamy texture and simply glide on the lips, giving a beautiful colour.
Even though they're a pencil, they don't feel rough on the lips and don't dry them out at all, they give a satin finish at first and dry down to a slightly more matte finish after a few hours.
In With Coral is a beautiful slightly shocking coral shade and if you can't wear that type of shade in Summer, then when can you?!

3. Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm - 'Vivacious'
These balms feel so comfortable on the lips, they're glossy and have a great amount of pigment to them, nothing shocking but enough to look like you've made an effort with your look.
They give so much hydration to the lips and last well and are easy to top up on the go, a great Summer product really.
My favourite shade I have is 'Vivacious', a brighter pink shade that does a great job of brightening up the face and finishing off a Summer look.
Once the gloss wears off, you're left with a balmy stain to the lips that feels so comfortable, a great product.

4. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet - 'Pink Pong'
These beauties are a great option for those of you that prefer your bright lip to be matte and less messy.
They glide on effortlessly, have a great pigment and dry down to a matte finish in a couple of minutes.
There's a great shade range here and they last very well on me, a good 6 hours, before being topped up so they're a total winner in my book!

5. Maybelline Colour Elixir - 'Mandarin Rapture'
If you suffer from dry lips or just prefer a glossy finish, then look no further than these babies.
Offering both hydration and gloss, they have a good pigment without being sticky at all.
Once the gloss wears off, you're left with a nice stain on the lips without drying them out at all so you guys should definitely check them out!

Hey Beauties!

I've told you guys before that I have a serious foundation obsession and get so excited with every new release.
Revlon are a brand that I've never really explored before, deeming them too expensive for the drug store, but they caused a lot of hype with a particular foundation.
The Nearly Naked foundation was hailed as a great budget foundation from the brand and amazing for achieving the natural look.

Now that we're moving in Summer, I am getting more interested in the natural look so thought it was the perfect time to pick up this baby and try it out.
Read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
This foundation promises to be so refreshingly light, it will melt right into your skin.
It will help you to create a fresh even look while covering flaws, blending seamlessly and providing a buildable coverage.

What I Say
I like the glass bottle packaging of this foundation but would definitely have preferred if it came with a pump, it can be a little fiddly having to pour out the right amount of product.
I chose the shade Natural Beige, a nice yellow toned shade that's a good match for when I use tan and I think there is a good shade range there.
The texture is very light and slightly runny, the perfect texture for those long sunny days of Summer (I hope!) but it's hard to not pour out too much of the product due to not having a pump.
I work this into the skin with my buffing brush and find that it blends easily, it gives light to medium coverage and gives that natural glow to the skin without looking overly dewy.
This foundation lasted very well on me, I wore it for 6-8 hours and didn't set it with a powder, although I wouldn't have oily skin.
It didn't cling to my dry patches and didn't feel tight or comfortable on my skin, just a lovely lightweight feel that still let my freckles come through.
If you have blemishes or dark circles, then you will need concealer also but I would definitely recommend it to those of you that are looking for a lightweight, radiant foundation for the natural look!

Wearing the shade 'Natural Beige'.

What do you think?

Have you tried this foundation?

Hey Beauties!

It's so scary to think that we're coming into May, the year is going by so fast!
Summer is sneaking ever closer and I for one am so excited thinking about the warmer weather, Summer clothes and general relaxation.

For this post, I thought I would show you guys some of the products I've been loving in the month of April!

Rimmel Apocalips - Apocalyptic - €7.99

You guys know that I'm a huge lip product fan and am certainly not afraid to wear colour so these beauties are a god send for me.
They're basically a liquid lipstick that are big on colour and somewhat stain the lips, ensuring you still have colour long after the gloss fades.
I really like the colour range, from light nudes to bright pinks and corals you're sure to love at least one and the red shade 'big bang' is a standout for me.
This month though I have been loving the shade 'Apocalyptic', a bright pink that screams Summer and looks amazing with a tan!

Maybelline Brow Satin Brow Pencil - Dark Brown - €8.99

Brows are huge now with the saying 'brows on fleek' seemingly on everyone's lips and there's nothing better than finding something from the drugstore that can help us with our ''fleekness''!
This product is double ended with a wind-up pencil on one side and a powder with smudger on the other, all to help you create natural looking brows.
I mainly use the pencil and love the shade, it looks really natural and doesn't leave my brows looking too dark.
You do need to lean quite a bit on the pencil to transfer the colour properly but the end result is well worth it.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush - Nude Mauve - €11.49

These blushes have created such a stir and are definitely one of the best launches of this year so far in my opinion, they certainly rival the Hourglass offerings and are a bargain in comparison.
I was lucky enough to be sent the collection and love the shade range, from berry pinks to coral tones and nudes, there's something for everyone.
This month I have been loving Nude Mauve, a beautiful more nude shade that's perfect for the days where you want something a little low-key on the cheeks and it's said to be a great dupe for Hourglass Diffused Light (I think that's the shade!).
These blushes are pigmented without being hard to work with and are easy to blend and of course the packaging and marbled effect are stunning to look at.

Revlon ColourStay Foundation - Rich Tan - €17.79

I had never tried much makeup from Revlon until this year and boy am I addicted now!
This foundation is something of a cult favourite with beauty lovers but is quite a high-end price for the drugstore.
I have the combination skin one and it's perfect, it gives a nice satin high coverage finish while blending out easily and not feeling too thick on the skin.
The shade Rich Tan is a great match for when I'm tanned and the lasting power is amazing, I use this on the days where I want my makeup to last and look flawless.
A total drugstore gem and something that might be included in my end of year favourites!

Loreal L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick - Molto Mauve - €13.49

Kylie Jenner and her lips are certainly achieving cult status with girls everywhere desperate to recreate her full lip look.
I personally love the look of bigger lips as long as they don't look ridiculous and the shade Molto Mauve is a great dupe for her shade in my opinion.
These liquid lipsticks are pigmented and have a great glossy texture so that you get a great colour without drying out your lips.
They don't feel super sticky at all, they're just really comfortable and last well for a glossier product.
I like to team mine with a nude liner I have from Essence to get that fuller look!

So there you have it, my April Favourites!

What's been your favourite product this month?

Hey there :)

I am quite excited for this review you guys as I have finally taken a leap into the cream blush pool!
The product I'm reviewing today is the Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in 'Flushed'.

Created as part of Revlon's Spring 2012 Collection, these blushes are inspired by the ''glowing skin of a beach beauty''. They come in 3 shades, 'Flushed', 'Coral Reef' and 'Pinched'.

What They Say:
This contains photochromatic pigments that bend and reflect light to provide cheeks with a beautiful glow. It's lightweight formula gives a silky soft feel to the skin and provides buildable colour. It blends evenly over cheeks for smooth application.

What I Say:
Like I said, I've never tried a cream blush before so I was very excited to try this and loved how vibrant the blushes looked in the pots! I tried putting this on with my fingers and also with a brush and I feel like the brush worked better for me. After applying one coat of this blush, you get a very sheer hint of colour but it is very buildable (I liked putting on about 3 coats to get the look I wanted). The wear time of these blushes isn't great though so I would definitely recommend setting them with some translucent powder. I did like this blush, I felt like it gave a very natural flush of colour and felt very soft on the cheeks so I would recommend it to you guys! However, if you like your blushes to be bold and vibrant, then this may not be right for you.

Me wearing the shade 'Flushed'

Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blushes are readily available priced at about €11.

What do you guys think?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo
Hey there :)
So I thought I would post a quick Nail Of The Day, showing you my Revlon nail polish.
I picked this up during a trip to London and I think it's the perfect summer colour! It's the ''Tropical Temptation'' nail polish from Revlon. A great warm coral-pink colour, it goes great with a tan! You only need 2 coats and it goes on easily. The brush also allows for easy application :)

What nail polish do you guys like to wear during summer?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo
