These days, the sun has been tentatively poking it's head out from behind the clouds, giving us hope of sunny days and carefree times. Whenever a sunny day miraculously comes around, I think minimal natural make up and glowing skin. However to be able to pull off this kind of look, one must have healthy, cared-for skin.
Face masks are the type of product that I used to adore. Once a week, I would shut my bedroom door, put a mask on and listen to music, happy in the knowledge that I was waging war on all the nasties that can occupy your pores. Sadly, face masks had become a thing of the past for me and my skin was certainly starting to notice.
So when I was recently sent the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask to try out for you guys, I was full of hope that my pores could be saved!

This active peel mask is designed to renew the complexion, reduce the appearance of fine lines and improve skin tone. It also promises to remove dead skin cells, combat blackheads and blemishes and leave you with brighter, more radiant skin. Simply apply to clean skin and leave for 10 minutes to be on your way to flawless skin! Not recommended for sensitive skin.
What I Say
I have heard so much about this mask, it is definitely one of those cult beauty products among the blogging community. I adore the packaging of REN products, it's so clinical and no-nonsense and really gives the impression of good, clean skincare which is what REN is known for. The scent of this product is lovely, fresh and fruity, which is actually down to the natural fruit acids in this product, designed to exfoliate the skin and encourage ''cell turnover''. I applied a thick layer of this all over my face, the texture of this product is thick and a little sticky so requires a small amount of care when applying. Many people feel this product stings their face, it did tingle when I applied it on my cheeks but it soon stopped. After 10 mins, I was left with bright, smooth skin that was certainly summer ready! I also noticed that my pores were slightly better and, all-round, my face just looks better!
I would certainly recommend this mask to you guys if your skin has seen better days and is in need of a luxurious treat!
