Hey Beauties!

I am quite the lipstick lover/hoarder and have so many shades in my collection from the palest nude to the brightest purple.
Although that doesn't mean that I don't need more!
Always a fan of new lipstick launches, I was very excited when I heard about the Collection Exclusive lipsticks from L'oreal.
When one of your favourite brands releases a new product, it's pretty exciting but when that product is inspired by celebrities then the excitement goes to that of epic proportions.

The first collection was a range of nudes inspired by the skin tone of different celebrities followed by a  red collection soon after.
I may have been a bit late picking these up but I still thought you guys might be interested in hearing my thoughts so read on!

What They Say
The nudes collection consists of 6 custom made nude shades chosen by 6 iconic L'oreal spokespersons for a naturally radiant lip colour.
The exclusive reds collection included 4 custom made, enriching matte red shades that are tailored to every skin tone.
Enriched with velvet spheres, pure pigments and jojoba oil, these mattes will leave lips feeling more hydrated after application.

What I Say
Firstly, I think we all agree that the packaging of these lipsticks is amazing, especially considering it's drug store and I love the pattern on the red lipstick.
I chose the shades inspired by Eva Longoria as my foundation tends to be quite dark when I'm tanned.
I first tried the nude shade and it felt so creamy and hydrating on the lips, a peachy nude that's perfect for the days where you have a statement eye or just want a fuss free beautiful lip colour.
The red shade is a lovely sort of burnt/terracotta style red and a shade that I don't think I have anything like already.
Being a matte shade, I was worried that it would be drying but it just glides onto the lips and feels so creamy, not drying in the slightest.
They last well throughout the day but I do like to top them up after eating and drinking, I definitely think you guys should check them out (I have my eye on Blake's Red next!).

Have you tried a lipstick from these collections yet?

Hey Beauties!

As much as I love makeup, I don't have many high end makeup pieces in my collection.
This is due partly to me being a huge fan of drugstore makeup and also due to the fact that I'd rather spend the bulk of my money on clothes (I mean I like to save my money!).

When I think of high end/sophisticated makeup, I think of brands like Liz Earle so when I was faced with the task of trialing some of her Summery makeup offerings, I jumped at the chance!
First up, the *Signature Lip Colour*.

What They Say
This sheer lip colour promises to deliver a burst of radiant colour to the lips for an instant boost, with a comfortable, wearable formula.
Enriched with natural Vitamin E, avocado oil and shea butter, this lipstick comes in a range of 19 mouth-watering shades.

What I Say
You can't deny that the packaging of this lipstick, and Liz Earle products in general, is beautiful.
I love everything about it, from the sturdy yet chic packaging to the LE embossing on the product itself.
I have been trialing the shade Hibiscus which is a beautiful reddish pink shade and perfect for Summer.
This lipstick is pigmented, goes on easily without being streaky or drying and it lasts quite a long time.
It actually leaves a stain on the lips once the glossy finish wears off, making it a little harder to take off at the end of the day but perfect if you want a long-lasting lip colour.
Check it out guys!

Liz Earle products are available from John Lewis stores and online here.

Have you tried anything from Liz Earle before?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo

Hey Beauties!

I'm a huge lover of makeup and love trying a variety of brands that will hopefully help me to achieve a flawless look.
Foundation and lipstick are definitely my two main makeup loves and I love experimenting with my lip colours, the more outrageous the better although I do like to rock an occasional natural look also.

I hadn't heard of Famous Makeup until they contacted me recently asking whether I would like to try some of their products and of course I jumped at the chance!
Read on to see what I thought...

What They Say
The First Date Blusher is all you need to get that perfect sexy look that will have you date-ready in no time!
The Lip Addict Lipstick is something totally different, it's not only a lipstick but it also contains a flip-up mirror and lip balm!
These pigmented lipsticks will have your lips looking amazing and kissable from the first application!

What I Say
Firstly, the packaging of these products is fabulous, pink and girly with a touch of leopard print!
I love the Blusher, it's a fierce barbie pink that is super pigmented, you literally only need a tiny bit of this on your brush and it blends out nicely.
The lipstick is great to pop in your handbag, it comes with a handy mirror for on-the-go touch ups and a lip balm for any dry lip emergencies.
The shade is a great ''your lips but better colour'' that is so wearable and great for everyday, it's pigmented and creamy so it doesn't dry out the lips.
All in all, I'm loving these products and think you guys should definitely check out Famous Makeup!

Hey there :)

Now unless you've been living under a beauty rock, you'll have heard of the Clinique Chubby Sticks and all the hype they caused.
A balm/gloss/stain type hybrid, the Chubby Sticks were all the rage a while back and companies everywhere are falling over themselves trying to come out with cheaper alternatives.
No.7, Soap + Glory and Revlon are just some of the brands that have come out with their own version and now MUA are firmly on the bandwagon with their new Power Pouts!

I was recently sent two of these to show you guys so read on to see how they fared against their more expensive counterparts...

What They Say
The Power Pout is a lip treatment with added colour intensity that relieves dry, cracked lips by providing immediate moisturisation.
This pencil makes the sheer colour easy to apply and rolls up for easy use.
Available in 6 shades, the Power Pouts will have your lips Summer ready in no time!

What I Say
I am in love with these!
MUA are one of my favourite budget brands and I think they've hit the nail on the head with this release.
I own the Revlon version of this type of lip product and I can safely say that I prefer the MUA pencil.
As someone that regularly suffers from very dry lips, I love how moisturizing the Power Pouts are and they feel much softer on the lips compared to the Revlon Balm Stain.
Thr Power Pouts give a lovely and glossy wash of colour to the lips, the gloss fades after a couple hours leaving behind a stain to the lips that looks great.
I like to reapply these every 4-5 hours and am loving their lasting power.
All in all, these are my new obsession and I definitely think you guys need to check them out!

You can pick up the MUA Power Pouts from Superdrug for £3 each.

Have you tried any new lip products lately?

Hey there :)

So this is a quick review of a Kiko lipstick. I got tonnes of Kiko goodies when I was in Italy a few months back and I was more than happy! They had a great sale on at the time, lots of their lipsticks were just a few euro. So I sort of bought way too many lipsticks :)

My favourites by far are their Creamy finish lipsticks. These are so pigmented and moisturising! They literally last all day, even after eating and drinking. I also think they smell quite nice! Their packaging is very sleek and sort of reminds me of the Mac lipsticks.

The shade I'm wearing here is shade 392, a lovely red colour with pink undertones. Ooo la la!

You can buy Kiko makeup from their website (click here to visit their website). They are an Italian makeup company so I'm unsure whether they ship outside Italy.

What do you guys think?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo
