Hey Beauties!

Max Factor are a brand that I've loved for quite some time and I've featured their new releases on here a lot in the past.
They can be a little pricey for the drug store at times but they always deliver, especially with their mascaras.

One of their latest releases is their *Colour Intensifying Balms* and I was lucky enough to be sent the range to try out.
Read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
These balms offer a buildable colour, giving you complete control over your make up look.
The lightweight formula lets you bring the colour from a subtle sheen to a full and vibrant finish.

What I Say
I love the idea of these balms, let's face it normal lip balms can get quite boring and standard so a fun colour can be a real pick me up.
There is a great shade range here, 9 colours in total, and I feel like they're all wearable shades and run from dark vampy browns to fresh and summery corals and pinks.
They smell divine, so sweet and perfect for Summer, and the packaging is pretty also in my opinion.
They feel lovely on the lips, balmy and nourishing without feeling sticky or greasy at all.
These are great for days where you want to look natural but still want a little something on your lips to look put together.
Some of the shades do look similar on the lips but there are subtle differences so there definitely worth looking at.
Check them out guys!

These balms are available from Boots and Superdrug for €11.50 each.

What do you think?

Have you tried these balms?

Hey Beauties!

For some strange reason, even though the weather has been good where I live lately, my lips have been super dry and sore.
With the condition they're in, you'd think that I lived in the North Pole but no, my lips are just that prone to dryness.
It's because of this that I've tried more than my fair share of lip balms and rotate them on a weekly basis as I'm worried about my lips getting too used to the one product.

I Love... are a budget brand that I've featured a lot on here and I really trust their products and especially love their scents.
They were nice enough to send me some of their *Moisturising Lip Balms* recently so read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
These lip balms are all you need to leave your lips feeling hydrated and nourished.
With invigorating bursts of scent, these babies are a handbag essential!

What I Say
The packaging of these balms are so cute, I love the little heart design they have in the centre.
I was sent the chocolate, strawberry and raspberry ones and of course their scents are divine, it's nearly tempting to just eat them off your lips!
These feel so creamy and hydrating on the lips and don't leave a greasy or waxy feeling to the lips at all.
I find these to be good fail-safe lip balms, they'll look after your lips and leave them well primed for lipstick and I know I'll get great use out of them.
Check them out guys!

I Love... products are available from Superdrug and online here.

Hey Beauties!

I've talked on here before about my lips and the struggle I go through with them and their occasional dryness.
I'm a huge matte lip fan and there's nothing worse than applying a slick of lipstick to find it clinging to the dry patches and frankly making you look pretty terrible.
Due to this lovely problem, I have tried out a lot of lip balms and have liked quite a lot that I use in rotation depending on how dry my lips are.

Palmer's are a brand that are known for their nourishing Cocoa Butter products so, when they sent me their *Cocoa Butter lip balms* to try out, I was excited to give them a go.
Read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
This moisturising lip balm is enriched with Vitamin E and has the added benefit of SPF 15 to keep your lips protected.
It promises to prevent and protect chapped, cracked or wind-burned lips.

What I Say
I like the packaging of these little balms, they're handy to throw in your bag and they're a different sort of rectangular shape.
I received the Dark Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Mint flavours and they smell so good, really chocolatey and the mint one reminds me of those After Eight chocolates!
I mainly used the mint flavour and found the shape really fit the lips well, I was able to get right into the corners so that every bit of my lips felt nourished.
It doesn't feel greasy at all and doesn't leave my lips feeling sticky, when I put it on before bed each night I can still feel some on my lips the next morning so I know that it doesn't just disappear straight away but absorbs over time while still leaving my lips feeling nourished.
Also, when I apply the mint one I can taste mint too so I think it can do a good job of freshening your breath, another reason to pop it in your handbag on the go.
I think that these are great handy balms and would definitely recommend them to you guys!

Hey Beauties!

I can still remember how much hype the EOS lip balms caused back in the day, they had every blogger contemplating a trip to the states to simply stock up.
The egg shaped lip balms were definitely one of those it products and it was only a matter of time before other brands followed suit and did their take on it.

*Balmi* have really hit the nail on the head with their offering, a lip balm in cube form instead and I was lucky enough to be sent some to try out.
Read on to see what I thought!

What They Say
These lip balms provide SPF 15 and UVA protection, making them an essential accessory for your lips.
Perfect for sensitive skin, the special blend contains Vitamin E, soothing Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil to leave your lips moisturised and super soft.

What They Say
I love the dinky packaging of these balms and prefer the little cone shape to the egg shape, it makes it easier to apply the product so you can really get into the corners of your lips.
The scents are divine, the coconut is a favourite of mine and is going to be perfect for Summer, I also love how you can attach them to your keys so you can stay moisturised on the go.
They feel really soothing on the lips, my lips are always dry and can get really painful and these babies really keep them in check.
They make the lips feel nourished and hydrated without feeling greasy, so you really feel like they're doing something and not just being a barrier and sitting on your lips.
Priced at just €5.99, they're a total bargain!

The Balmi lip balms are available in Boots stores and online here.

Hey Beauties!

You guys know that I trial a lot of products and like to let you know my honest opinion when it comes to products that are worth the money etc.
Now that we're coming into Winter, I know that a lot of people will be like me and will be dreading the effect that the cold weather will have on their lips.
In Winter, my lips become dry, chapped and quite sore so I'm constantly on the hunt for lip balms that will help me in this department.

Next up on my lip balm list is the Burt's Bees *Honey Lip Balm* so read on to see how it performed!

What They Say
Made with Sweet Honey, this natural lip balm moisturizes and nourishes lips so that you will be feeling amazing.
Plus, it's packed with Beeswax, Shea Butter, Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter and Lanolin to keep your lips soft and healthy.

What I Say
I've always been a huge fan of Burt's Bees products and their lip balms are no exception.
Now I'm not a huge fan of the scent of Honey in general but it's not too strong with this lip balm so I can easily overlook it.
This lip balm makes my lips feel so soft and nourished and is perfect to pop on your lips as an overnight treat.
I definitely recommend that you guys check these out!

Burt's Bees lip balms are available from Boots, Debenhams and online here.

Hey Beauties!

I have struggled with my lips for quite a while now, at times they're great but they also have a tendency to completely dry out and become a huge annoyance for me.
I hate it when you put on your favourite lipstick and all you can see are the patches where the lipstick has stuck to the dry skin and become flaky (TMI?!).

As a result of this, I'm always on the lookout for lip products that will help soothe and nourish my tired lips so that I can rock lipstick with confidence!
The latest lip balm to be tested out is the *Hydrating Lip Balm* from Burt's Bees so read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
This lip balm is all you need to hydrate your lips thanks to the Coconut Oil ingredient and the scent will remind you of the tropics thanks to the Pear Extract and Shea Butter.

What I Say
As always, I like the dinky packaging of these lip balms as they're just perfect for popping into your handbag.
The scent is lovely, fresh and fruity, but not strong enough to become annoying throughout the day.
After using this lip balm for a while now, my lips feel smooth, soft and nourished and I think it makes the perfect addition to my daily beauty routine.
Check it out guys!
