Hey Beauties!

I don't know about you guys but, even though we're experiencing warm weather these days, I'm still getting quite a few dry patches on my arms and legs.
Prone to neglecting my body when it comes to moisturising, I can get quite lazy when it comes to my body care routine and my skin certainly feels it.
Now that Summer is approaching, I want to be able to rock shorter dresses and wear fake tan without worrying about it clinging to dry patches so I started looking for products to remedy this.

I Love... are an affordable brand that I have featured on here before so, when they sent me a couple of their *body butters* to try out, I was more then eager.
Read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
These butters are all you need to feel refreshed, thanks to their juicy scent.
Packed with Coconut Oil and Shea Butter, they will leave your skin feeling nourished, silky soft and with a beautiful fragrance!

What I Say
I like the standard body butter packaging but it's the scent that truly brings these butters to life, they're just so zesty and fruity and are perfect for Summer.
They're the typical body butter texture, quite thick and creamy, but don't feel heavy or greasy on the skin at all.
I found that they absorbed well into the skin without making me feel tacky and left a beautiful scent to my skin that did linger.
All in all, I loved these butters and think that they'll do a great job of keeping my skin in check all Summer long.
Check them out guys!

I Love... products are available from Superdrug stores and Primark stores.

Hey Beauties!

Now that Winter is coming our way, it's time for us to revamp our skincare/bodycare regime and indulge in some tlc.
Gone are the days of letting our skin sit out in the sun all day, it's time to inject some serious moisture and nurture our tired complexions before the really cold weather hits.

One of my favourite ways to do this is with a body butter and if you throw a festive scent into the mix, then I'm completely sold.
As always, Burt's Bees are one step ahead and have come out with a body butter whose scent screams warmth: *Cranberry + Pomegranate*.

What They Say
Dry skin doesn't stand a chance thanks to this nourishing natural body butter.
A beautiful blend of antioxidant-rich Cranberry Seed and Pomegranate Oils along with hydrating Cocoa and Jojoba Butters cause this butter to melt easily on your skin.
After using this, your skin will be left feeling soft, supple and seriously smooth!

What I Say
I absolutely love the scent of this body butter, it's warm and festive while still somehow being light and fruity, a definite favourite for me.
The texture is that of a typical body butter, rich and creamy, and I love slathering it on at night and leaving it to settle into my skin.
I found this product to be easy to apply, it just sinks into the skin without leaving a greasy layer and it made my skin feel beautiful and soft.
Check it out guys!

Burt's Bees products are available from Boots, Debenhams and online here.

Hey Beauties!

As you guys know, I'm on a mission to protect my skin from the pesky cold weather of late and am always on the lookout for products that will help.
From facial oils to serums, I've been testing a variety of products so that I can help you guys have glowing skin in spite of the Winter chill.

I was recently sent the Shea Skin Cream from Ruby Red to try out and I hoped this would be the perfect product to add to my Winter arsenal.

What They Say
This cream is pure nourishment for the skin as it focuses on active ingredients found in nature.
Ruby Red products have distinctive aromas and are hand-blended for maximum therapeutic benefit.
Made in the UK, Ruby Red products use plant nutrients and vitamins to work with the skin and are free from parabens and a whole host of other nasties so that your skin won't be irritated!

What I Say
I love the packaging of this cream, it comes in a glass tub which makes it seem like a piece of expensive luxury and the scent of lemon and honey is to die for!
It's a solid cream that, once warmed up between your fingers, becomes an oil-like liquid that melts into your skin without leaving a greasy residue.
I like to use this on any dry skin patches and found that it made a great difference, leaving the skin hydrated and glowing.
Check it out guys!

Ruby Red products are available from Fortnum + Mason, Planet Organic and Online here.

Hey there :)

I know I've spoken a lot lately about skincare but I do think it's a very important topic that we should all pay more attention to.
From not exfoliating to never wearing an SPF, I've committed a lot of beauty sins but, rest assured, I'm learning and love to share my new found skincare loves with you guys!
I have normal skin that gets a little dehydrated at times so am always on the lookout for products that will pump in some moisture.

My recent mission has been to find a thick and nourishing night cream so when I was recently sent the Rich Hydrating Cream from Avène to try out, I was hoping it would be just what my skin needed.
Read on to see how it did...

What They Say
This rich and creamy moisturizer helps dry skin restore it's natural barriers and maintain it's moisture balance.
Aimed at Normal/Combination and Dry skin, this intensive cream will restore skin hydration and penetrate the skin quickly to diminish fine lines.

What I Say
I have long been a fan of Avène as a brand and have loved every other product that I've tried from then and this cream was no exception.
It has a nice, fresh scent and isn't super thick which makes it easier to work into the skin.
It absorbs easily, making my skin feel soft and hydrated and my skin looks so radiant afterwards.
I'd definitely recommend this product to you guys if you have dry or dehydrated skin especially as it's just the thing to quench the skin!

Avène products are available from Boots.

Hey there :)

One thing that annoys me about the colder weather is the effect it has on my skin.
Whether it's my lips or my hands, at least one part of me will always become dry when the sun goes away and the weather starts to cool.
Where I live lately, the sun seems to have disappeared resulting in my poor hands becoming very dry indeed.
I like to look after myself and having dry, chapped hands is a definite no-no in my book.

So when I was recently sent the Peace Balm from Selexir to try out, I was hoping that this was the cure my hands needed!

What They Say
Formulated with 21 natural ingredients, this Balm is a multitasking product that's ideal for travelling, preventing your skin from drying out on long haul flights.
The perfect travel size, this product contains Capuacu Butter to nourish cracked skin, Black Cumin Seed Oil to enhance skin hydration, Avocado Oil to promote cell regeneration and Mango Seed Butter to protect you from UV rays.
It really is all your skin needs!

What I Say
My hands were so dry that the skin had actually started to peel so I had high hopes for this product and I certainly wasn't disappointed!
This Balm is a super thick consistency and smells quite nice and fresh.
I liked to slather my hands with this right before going to bed and every morning my hands felt soft and nourished.
After a few uses, my hands were back in tip top condition with no more peeling skin!
I love this product and think you guys need to check this out if you suffer from dry skin on any part of your body :)
