XxxLoveIsBeautyxxX: Clump Defy Mascara

Hey Beauties!

Even though I wear glasses all the time, I still feel like my makeup isn't complete without a few slicks of mascara.

Being a mom, I tend to feel tired all the time and you just can't beat the ''I've had a full 8 hours sleep'' effect that mascara gives.

I've always been a huge fan of Max Factor mascaras and have featured them heavily on here in the past.

So when I heard that Max Factor were adding a new addition to the Clump Defy mascara family, the *Clump Defy Extensions Mascara*, I was more then a little excited.

I have been trialing this mascara for a while now and can't wait to share my thoughts with you guys!

What They Say

This 3 in 1 mascara is all you need to achieve the dream lash look.

It has a volumising formula with length-extending fibres and a brush that hugs the lash line thereby defining the lashes.

The anti-clump brush is designed with fewer spaces between bristles so that clumps are unable to form.

Lastly, a brush loading reservoir ensures root-to-tip coverage.

What I Say

This mascara has the same packaging as the other clump defy mascaras except for the hint of gold, which I love.

I don't notice a massive difference between the wands although there may be slightly more bristles in the newer Extensions one.
I like to apply one coat of this mascara and found that the brush really gripped the lashes well, the formula wasn't too wet and there were no clumps, even after a second coat.
It gave a lot of length and some volume and really held a curl well also.
At the end of the day, the mascara was easy enough to remove with my usual micellar water so I'm a happy camper!

It seems like every week there's a new mascara hitting the shops, promising to cure all our makeup worries. Max Factor are the latest brand to try and tackle our lash woes, this time with their new Clump Defy Mascara. The clue is definitely in the name with this mascara as it promises to rid our lashes of those unsightly clumps!

I was recently sent this mascara to review for you guys so here we go!

What I Say

Overall, I am pleased with this mascara. The plastic wand gives just the right amount of mascara so you're not wasting any product. I found that it gave great volume and length to my lashes! However, I would recommend only 1 coat of this mascara as I found it clumped slightly in the outer corners of my eyes after applying a second coat. I would recommend this mascara to you guys though :)
