Hey Beauties!

If I could give my teenage self one piece of advice, it would be...don't tweeze your own eyebrows!!
I feel like so many of us fall victim to the dreaded over-plucking and, with brows becoming a staple in the make up world again, we're pretty much screwed.
I'm sad to say my brows are quite bad and have a few sparse patches that I'm desperately trying to grow out.

Ever since Cara Delevigne burst into the modelling world with her naturally full brows, the make up world fell over itself desperately trying to recreate the look.
With bushy brows fashionable again, every make up brand started pumping out brow products like nobodies business, hoping to cash in on this latest must-have.
I for one am always eager to try out these new releases as anything that can help my brows is a winner in my book.
The latest release that I have tried out for you guys is the Brow Satin brow pencil from Maybelline so read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
This pencil is all you need for natural looking brows!
On one side there's a gel-pencil for filling in gaps and shaping the brow and on the other side you'll find a powder that promises to define and set the brow.

What I Say
I tend to enjoy using these double-ended brow products, they're usually really handy to pop in your bag as one of those do-it-all products.
The gel pencil is good for filling in my sparse brows, it feels comfortable on the skin without being rough and dragging, I chose the shade Dark Brown and it was a good match for my dark brows
The powder on the other side is very pleasant to use, it feels velvety soft and does a good job of making your finished brows look natural.
I was worried about how long a powder set would last on my unruly brows however and opted to use a brow gel most days instead but, if you like that natural no make up look then the powder is great to just sweep through the brows on it's own.
All in all, I really like this product and think it's a bargain at around €8 so check it out guys!

Hey Beauties!

It's fair to say that brows have well and truly burst into the makeup scene and it seems like everybody wants to create that Cara Delevigne look.
You can buy all sorts to fix your brows now, from pencils to shadows and gels and I for one am loving experimenting with different looks.

Push Makeup are another makeup brand offering their take on the brow trend and offer a brow gel that promises all sorts so I couldn't wait to see what it had to offer.
Read on to see what I thought!

What They Say
Give your brows a helping hand with this beauty which promises to make yours thicker instantly.
Able to cover grey hairs, this is all you need to create a makeup love story!

What I Say
I like the packaging of this gel and love that it's tinted, you see so many clear brow gels that have a disgusting murky colour so it's good that I won't have to worry about that.
There are only 2 shades in this range which is a downside but hopefully they will release more if the product proves successful.
I used this in the shade 'Brunette' after filling in my brows to just set them in place and was happy with the results.
The wand applied the product easily and it didn't make my brows go crispy and didn't create any white bits which can happen to those with dark brows.
It did a good job of keeping my unruly brows in place all day, was easy to remove and is also great for the days where you just want to swipe some product onto your brows to define them quickly.
Check it out guys!

Hey Beauties!

You guys know that brows have been well and truly in since Ms Delevigne began strutting her stuff down the catwalk.
There's just something about well-kept strong brows that totally frames the face and finishes off any makeup look.
As a teenager, I fell victim to the dreaded 'over-tweezing' like many girls and I haven't been happy with my brows ever since, hating the slightly bigger then average gap between them.

I have started a somewhat brow revolution in my routine and have began trying out different ways to change them and the Sleek Brow Stylist really jumped out at me during a recent trip to the drugstore.
Read on to see what I thought!

What They Say
With a unique angled pencil on one end and a spooly on the other, this product is all you need to groom those brows into place.
The angled tip achieves tailor-made strokes from thin to thick and is perfect for outlining and filling.
Available in 3 shades, the rich creamy formula is velvety smooth and matte for a natural finish that promises to last.

What I Say
I love the sleek black packaging of this product and it's certainly a first for the drugstore, in my opinion.
Hailed as a dupe for the Tom Ford and Hourglass brow offerings, I was so excited to try it as I couldn't justify paying the price of it's higher-end counterparts.
The brush is perfect for brushing the brows upwards and shaping them and the angled tip is fine enough to really get into the brows to create the appearance of hairs.
The waxy formula is soft and doesn't drag and can be built up gradually to create a strong brow look also.
I use the shade Dark and love it to create a really structured look and this product has certainly become a staple in my routine, a must-have!
Check it out guys!

Sleek makeup is available from Superdrug and Boots.

Hey there :)

Now, I have always felt that well designed brows are a very important part of my daily makeup routine. After all, the brows totally frame your eyes and face so it's best to have them in tip top shape. Thankfully the lovely people at Sigma know this and have released their new Brow Design Kit to make designing your brows easy while still achieving a professional result. Having well designed brows can include a complex routine of arching, shaping + general grooming which can seem like a pretty annoying chore. But this Brow Kit contains all the tools you need in a handy little case.

The kit contains:
5 brow powder shades (Bella, Chloe, Scarlett, Natasha + Valentina)
Dual-Ended Brow Brush (E75 + E80)
Dual-Ended Brow Pencil (Medium + Dark)
Dual-Ended Brow Gel (Clear + Tinted)
Dual-Ended Highlighting Pencil (Matte + Shimmer)
Small, Medium + Large Brow Stencils
Tweezers
Scissors
Sharpener

Brow Powder Shades

The Brow Kit is available on the Sigma website for $69.

What do you guys think of Sigma?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo
