Hey Beauties!

Max Factor are a brand that I've loved for quite some time and I've featured their new releases on here a lot in the past.
They can be a little pricey for the drug store at times but they always deliver, especially with their mascaras.

One of their latest releases is their *Colour Intensifying Balms* and I was lucky enough to be sent the range to try out.
Read on to hear my thoughts!

What They Say
These balms offer a buildable colour, giving you complete control over your make up look.
The lightweight formula lets you bring the colour from a subtle sheen to a full and vibrant finish.

What I Say
I love the idea of these balms, let's face it normal lip balms can get quite boring and standard so a fun colour can be a real pick me up.
There is a great shade range here, 9 colours in total, and I feel like they're all wearable shades and run from dark vampy browns to fresh and summery corals and pinks.
They smell divine, so sweet and perfect for Summer, and the packaging is pretty also in my opinion.
They feel lovely on the lips, balmy and nourishing without feeling sticky or greasy at all.
These are great for days where you want to look natural but still want a little something on your lips to look put together.
Some of the shades do look similar on the lips but there are subtle differences so there definitely worth looking at.
Check them out guys!

These balms are available from Boots and Superdrug for €11.50 each.

What do you think?

Have you tried these balms?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo

Hey Beauties!

I am a huge lip product fan and love changing it up between shades and finishes, they're probably my favourite product to play with.
With lots of you going on holiday lately, I thought you guys might be interested in hearing my recommendations for lip products to wear in the warm weather!

I hope you like it!

1. Rimmel Apocalips - 'Apocalyptic'
My love is strong for these guys, they are basically a liquid lipstick so you're getting the pigmentation and wear of a lipstick and the hydration of a gloss.
The colour range is fabulous, from nudes to bright pinks they have you covered, and they are super pigmented so be careful to stay within your lip line.
After a couple of hours the gloss will fade, leaving you with a beautiful stain to the lips that's not drying in the slightest.
Of them all, Apocalyptic is my favourite shade, it's a bright pink that screams Summer and makes these babies some of my favourite lip products!

2. Maybelline Color Drama Lip Pencil - 'In With Coral'.
These beauties are Maybelline's take on the Nars lip pencils and they are a beautiful product.
Very nicely pigmented, they have a smooth creamy texture and simply glide on the lips, giving a beautiful colour.
Even though they're a pencil, they don't feel rough on the lips and don't dry them out at all, they give a satin finish at first and dry down to a slightly more matte finish after a few hours.
In With Coral is a beautiful slightly shocking coral shade and if you can't wear that type of shade in Summer, then when can you?!

3. Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm - 'Vivacious'
These balms feel so comfortable on the lips, they're glossy and have a great amount of pigment to them, nothing shocking but enough to look like you've made an effort with your look.
They give so much hydration to the lips and last well and are easy to top up on the go, a great Summer product really.
My favourite shade I have is 'Vivacious', a brighter pink shade that does a great job of brightening up the face and finishing off a Summer look.
Once the gloss wears off, you're left with a balmy stain to the lips that feels so comfortable, a great product.

4. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet - 'Pink Pong'
These beauties are a great option for those of you that prefer your bright lip to be matte and less messy.
They glide on effortlessly, have a great pigment and dry down to a matte finish in a couple of minutes.
There's a great shade range here and they last very well on me, a good 6 hours, before being topped up so they're a total winner in my book!

5. Maybelline Colour Elixir - 'Mandarin Rapture'
If you suffer from dry lips or just prefer a glossy finish, then look no further than these babies.
Offering both hydration and gloss, they have a good pigment without being sticky at all.
Once the gloss wears off, you're left with a nice stain on the lips without drying them out at all so you guys should definitely check them out!

Swatches (top to bottom) Revlon ColourBurst in 'Vivacious', Rimmel Apocalips in 'Apocalyptic', Maybelline Colour Drama Pencil in 'In With Coral', Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 'Pink Pong' and Maybelline Colour Elixir in 'Mandarin Rapture'.

Hey Beauties!
It seems like with every day that passes lately there's another festival or similar Summery event that we have to dress for.
It can be hard to know what to wear to these festivals, especially with celebrities setting the standard so high.

That's where budget fashion brand Heatons comes in, offering plenty of on trend pieces for half the price compared to a lot of retailers these days.
This season they have released a selection of pieces that would make Kate Moss herself proud, the ultimate in laid back chic.
The standout piece for me has to be the Crochet Waistcoat, it's so cute and would look great with a pair of denim shorts.

Feast your eyes!

These pieces are available in stores and online here.

Hey Beauties!

It won't be long before the 'dance' season is upon us and by that I mean Prom, Debs and even Homecoming (which is usually in September).
I love looking at the dresses online and love how much work the girls put into getting ready, they really do get to feel like Cinderella for the night.
As much fun as this experience can be, it can also be stressful especially for the girls when it comes to deciding what to wear.
I thought, for this fashion post, I would show you guys my top picks from a new website I've discovered in the hopes that you would soon find your dream dress.

CocoMelody have been expert dress makers in the bridal profession for the past 15 years and take their inspiration from the average woman.
The founder Miranda got the idea for the business after seeing her friend struggle with the expensive cost of her dress and she felt compelled to help.
After seeing everything, from bad quality dresses to inflated price tags, she set up her own company to help women achieve their dream look at an affordable price.

When it comes to inexpensive homecoming dresses, they really have it all and pieces can even be customized and tailored to fit you in characteristic colours.
Inspired by the leading fashion shows, each piece is created and tailored by professional seamstresses with high quality fabrics imported worldwide.

I love the great range of homecoming dresses 2015 styles on offer here and you can rest assured that you will feel like the belle of the ball.
Whether you want to be vintage in lace, sexy in satin or demure in a floor sweeper, they have something to suit every taste.

Feast your eyes!

Hey Beauties!

Another month has passed and I can't quite believe that we're in August, where has the Summer gone?!
One great thing about August though is that my birthday is this month, the 6th to be precise, and I am quite excited to say the least!

Now that the month is over, it's time for another favourites post where I tell you guys about the products that I've been loving in the month of July.
Hope you enjoy!

1. L'oreal Infallible Matte Foundation
This baby has been my go-to foundation and has reawakened my love of a good matte base, I just love how flawless it makes my face look.
I buff this into my face with a buffer brush and I find that it blends easily, has great coverage without being too thick and settles and dries down quickly.
It lasts very well on my skin and doesn't cling to my dry patches noticeably, a great base for those that want a matte finish.
Left - No Makeup. Right - Wearing this foundation.

2. Sleek Face Contour Kit
This is an oldie in my make up stash but my contouring love has made me dig it out in recent weeks and I have fallen back in love with it.
I use mainly the contour shade in this kit but the highlight isn't bad at all, I just love the cool tone of the contour powder and think it's a winner for the drugstore.
I contour everyday and love how easy this powder is to blend, it is quite pigmented so I like to add a little bit at a time and blend it out.
3. Real Techniques Buffing Brush
I love using a brush to buff in my foundation and this brush was a more recent addition to my collection, available only in the Core Collection from Real Techniques.
It's dense and super soft and does a great job of blending out my bases, I like how it's not too bulky so it's still handy to use to blend in product around my nose.
Real Techniques are a great budget brand and I have yet to try a brush from them that I haven't loved.

4 & 5. PS Love Nude Lip Liner + PS Love Nude Matte Lipstick
My last 2 favourites I use together on a daily basis and are my ultimate lip combo of recent weeks.
I am a huge fan of the Kylie Jenner lip look and have been looking for a matte nude that could be a good dupe for her shade.
The PS Love range from Primark has really impressed me, the lipstick is pigmented, creamy and not drying at all.
I like to over line my lips with the liner and find it to be creamy and not dragging on the lips like others I've tried.
Of all the favourites, these are 2 I really think you should check out if you want to embrace your inner Kylie!

So there you have my July Favourites, until next month ladies!
