Hey Beauties!

We're coming to the end of another year which I feel is a good time to sit back and reflect on the year gone by.
Being a beauty blogger, I naturally cast an eye back to all the products I've gotten to test this year and I thought I would share my Top 10 beauty picks with you guys!

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer
I actually only bought this product a month ago but it's made such an impression that I had to feature it.
This is such a finely-milled highlighter that gives a natural beautiful sheen to the skin without looking fake and shiny.
It doesn't have any chunky glitter like some highlighters and it can double up as an eyeshadow.

Maybelline 24H Colour Tattoo in 'Pink Gold'
These cream shadow/shadow bases have certainly achieved a cult status and with good reason, I use the shade Pink Gold nearly every day.
It's the perfect shade to just swipe all over the lid and gives a subtle shimmer to the eyes.
It lasts all day on me and doesn't crease so is a definite winner in my book!

Max Factor Clump Defy Extensions Mascara
This mascara is one of my handbag staples and gets put to use everyday to transform my lashes from dull to fab.
With it's curved plastic brush, it coats each lash to offer some volume, a lot of length and a great curl that stays all day.
It doesn't flake on me at all and is easy to remove with my usual micellar water.

Sleek Brow Stylist in 'Dark'
This brow product is a first for the drugstore from it's slanted wax tip to the handy spooly on the bottom.
This is great for those that want to create a natural brow shape as the slanted tip makes it easy to add what looks like hairs for fuller brows.

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25H Foundation
This is hands down my favourite foundation of the moment and I love everything about the packaging from the glass bottle to the pump applicator.
It offers great buildable coverage, a good satin finish and lasts all day on me without going patchy or settling into fine lines.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
I pair this translucent beauty with my foundation most days and love how it mattifies the skin and makes my foundation last longer.
I apply it with my Real Techniques Powder Brush and it doesn't look caked on the skin in the slightest.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
This concealer is touted as another must-have product and with good reason, it's all you need to re-awaken tired eyes.
With it's creamy and pigmented formula, it blends in effortlessly and doesn't settle into any fine lines.
I use this only under my eyes as it has a brightening effect and it does a great job of covering up my dark circles.

Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 'Kiss Of Life'
Matte lips are something I have discovered this year and I am loving the look that they give and are all you need to achieve that pin-up look.
Kiss Of Life is a pillar-box red shade and looks great with simple black liner and this is one of my go-to looks now.
Even though it's matte, it still feels creamy on the lips and doesn't dry my lips out at all, yet it lasts all day.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in 'East-End Snob'
Lip liner has to be my biggest beauty discovery this year, I just love how it totally transforms and defines the lips.
East- End Snob is a pinkish nude shade and is great for a natural lip look.
The mechanical pencil has a slanted tip for easy application and the formula is soft and creamy so it doesn't drag on the lips at all or dry them out.

Avene Soothing Hydrating Serum
Lastly I chose a skincare product and it is a beauty, perfect for those with tired skin that needs some TLC.
Avene are such a great brand and using this serum leaves my skin feeling soft, nourished and it leaves a great tack to the skin, meaning that the moisturizer that follows will really stick.

So there you have it, those were my Top 10 Beauty Buys of 2014!
I can't wait for another year and for lots more beauty products!

Hey Beauties!

You guys know that I love my fashion and love to experiment with new styles and daring looks.
I feel like quirky pieces are a great thing to add to your closet to make an otherwise plain outfit pop and they're a conversation starter if nothing else!

That's where the Graduate Collection come in.
Supporting emerging design talent, the Graduate Collection work with some of the most exciting new designers to emerge from college.
Fusing traditional design with contemporary flair by a new range of designers, the luxurious lifestyle collections are manufactured in the UK, supporting some of the country's oldest industries.
The current portfolio includes 16 designers with a cross-section of styles including the colourful and contemporary to the cute and quirky.

One of the designers, Lisa Bliss, has extended the 'Man's Best Friend' collection to include more cute canines by introducing a beautiful collection of 100% silk scarves featuring distinctive hand-drawn dogs.
The new additions include an Airedale, Schnauzer and Basset Hound.

The new collection from Lisa Bliss is available online here.

Hey Beauties!

Autumn/Winter is well and truly upon us with the sun all but disappearing and Summer clothes slowly making their way out of our closets.
I love this time of year so much, the fashion is amazing making it a great time to experiment with our style and let's not forget that Christmas is just around the corner (yes, I'm one of those people).

Another thing that happens at this time of year is the fierce competition between brands, all desperately trying to snare the consumer with defining Winter fashion.
The next brand to launch their offerings is Bench, which isn't one of my go-to brands as I always deemed them too casual and sporty in the past.
However, with the weather in my hometown ever worsening, the Bench collection has caught my attention due to the adaptable and multi-functioning nature of this collection.

Bench have developed 2 ranges of Multipurpose City Clothing, Life and Performance, which are both designed to provide for both the active and style-conscious city dweller.
A key feature of this collection is the Adaptability, with products made to cope with the ever-changing environment thanks to unique design features and performance fabrics.

The Takeoff Point Jacket is a key piece for men coming in neutral shades with a zip-in feature that allows for layering.
The chin guard, adjustable hood and fleece thumb loops all help protect against cold conditions.
For women, the Kresiel jacket is a key concept with it being suitable for the cold while also being stylish and flattering.

Feast your eyes!

The Bench Collection is out now!

Are you a fan of this functional collection?

Hey Beauties!

I can admit that I have a complete fashion problem (or rather a buying fashion problem!).
I almost wish that I didn't love poring over the latest fashion campaigns and making mental lists of what to buy/rock.
But, thankfully, I know that you guys understand that some fashion styles are just too pretty to resist and that it's not my fault (at least this is what I tell myself!).

On that note, I have yet another fashion campaign to show you guys that will have you jumping for joy and your bank account sobbing :)

Fashion Union are a fashion website that are showcasing the best of what's to come in terms of Summer fashion.
Think a combination of monochrome with a touch of neon and a dash of pastel thrown in (starting to drool yet?).

As much as I love monochrome, when it comes to Summer I just want to surround myself with pretty pastels and funky neon so that, whatever the weather, I'm at least shining bright!

For pastel, Fashion Union are providing beautiful ice cream colours of peach and mint green and layering them together for the ultimate in Summer cool.
If that's a little too ''out there'' for you, then there's plenty of white separates for you to mix and match!

When it comes to neons, Fashion Union have everything for you to channel beach glam (although I'll still probably fall walking along the beach, sand can be treacherous!).
For the ultimate in high-end perfection, team your neons together or simply break them up with some key piece whites.

Hey Beauties!

I love nothing more than sharing my fashion loves with you guys so when various press releases land on my desk, I get more than a little excited!
Summer is one of my favourite seasons for fashion, there's just something about the relaxed silhouettes, neon colours and sexy swimwear that makes me incredibly inspired.

Havana are one of Ireland's most directional fashion boutiques, exclusively stocking designers such as Simone Rocha, so when I was treated to a glimpse of their S/S'14 Collection, I couldn't contain my excitement!
This Collection features coveted pieces from the likes of Nina Ricci, Rick Owens and Haider Ackermann to name a few so get ready to feast your eyes!

Simone Rocha has seen her career soar in recent times and has made waves at the likes of London and Paris Fashion Weeks, leading to her becoming one of the most sought after Irish designers.
Her S/S Collection focuses on a monochrome colour palette with key pieces including a drop waist dress and a black neoprene bite skirt.

Known for his edgy rock couture designs, Rick Owen's sophisticated S/S Collection includes beautiful and easy to wear wardrobe essentials.
Known for his cult following, Rick's leather jackets are crafted from brushed leather and feature heavily in the Collection with leather ankle boots being essential to completing the look.

An expert in ready to wear, Haider Ackermann's latest Collection showcases his attention to tailoring perfectly.
The Metallic Stretch-Suede Skinny Pants from the Collection are coated with a blue cracked sheen for added impact and would pair perfectly with a tuxedo jacket.
The Ruched Cotton Tulle Maxi Dress in featherweight blush, has a ballerina sheer skirt with an elegant dropped waist.

The Havana S/S Collection is available in store now :)

Hey Beauties!

Being a huge Primark fan, I was super excited to see their new offerings for Spring 2014!

This collection promises to make a huge statement, offering chic essentials that will see you through Spring in style!

Tribal patterns inspire the accessories with the glitz coming from the embroidery and beading.
A colour palette of hot pinks and cerise on a monochrome background allows this collection to be amazing yet wearable.

This season is all about mixing and matching and Primark have hit the nail on the head with their bead encrusted sandals, bags and belts.

Whether you want a statement neck piece or a handbag with added style points, this collection has something for you.

Feast your eyes girls!

This collection will be in stores from early March.

What's your favourite piece?

Stay Beautiful! xoxo
