I'm sure you're all aware of the hype that BB/CC Creams caused over the past couple years and every brand everywhere has been trying to cash in on their success.
I've tried a few and liked some but I've yet to see any that have really knocked my socks off.
The BB Creams that we get here aren't really anything compared to the Asian BB Creams, which are the originals and are truly skincare products, these days western companies seem to be making them a foundation/makeup product.
As a result of this, I was very excited to try out the *Skin 79 Super Plus BB Cream* so read on to see what I thought!
What They Say
This cream has a silky texture, lightweight feel and has a matte finish for oily/combination skin types.
It promises to whiten skin, reduce wrinkles and enhance collagen and elastin.
The porous powder covers fine lines and pores to create a more even and smooth skin texture while the SPF 30 protects skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.
What I Say
I like the packaging of this BB Cream, it looks quite funky and colourful and I like that it has a pump applicator.
I liked to apply this on days where I didn't feel like applying a full foundation base and I liked the scent, it's very light and fruity but not overpowering at all.
This was quite a thick cream and a little goes a long way and I did find it quite easy to blend.
However, I wouldn't recommend this to those of you with dry skin as whenever my skin was going through a dry phase, I found that this would cling to the dry patches and would highlight pores etc.
On good skin days, I was left with a totally natural finish that just perfected my skin and made me look fresh and awake.
All in all, this is a good BB Cream and I think it would do well on oily skin as it does mattify the skin and lasts well.
Although, please be wary if you have dry skin!
